With Uber promising to deliver food within 10 minutes in NYC, there’s no catching up to that. However, New York City alone is not getting lucky in this case, Uber has extended its food delivery services in Chicago as well with UberEATS.
On similar lines Gett, a competitor to Uber, also plans to offer other on-demand services such as on-demand manicures, housecleaning and pizza delivery. Seems like, nobody has to worry about dinner anymore.

Mumbai-based Grab A Grub Services Pvt Ltd, a food logistics startup which essentially provides third-party food delivery service to restaurants, has raised $1 million (Rs 6.3 crore) from Oliphans Capital and former Network18 CEO Haresh Chawla, according to a press release.
On-demand massage app in China attracts $5M series A funding
Chinese tech blog 36Kr reports today that Diandao has just secured US$5 million in series A funding to assist with its growth. The investment was led by Banyan Capital along with58Daojia, a local web startup that specializes in other on-demand services for things like housekeeping and beauty treatment.
