By Vishal Thakur 14th April 2022

Shipstream is a Warehouse Management System (WMS) used by businesses to manage inventory, orders processing, and shipping logistics. It tracks your inventory stocks automatically so that your management team has knowledge of what’s available and what needs to be restocked.

Warehouse Management System

Integrating Shipstream WMS with Tookan bridges the gap between warehouse operations and delivery management, enabling businesses to ensure smooth deliveries of logistics. This integration process provides a full view of the entire order journey from inventory management in the warehouse to final delivery made to the customers.

Challenges Without Integration:

Challenges faced
  1. Manual Data Entry: Without integration, it will be difficult & time-consuming to maintain the order data manually and prone to mistakes like incorrect delivery addresses, or missed orders.

  2. Delays in Order Processing: With a lack of real-time tracking orders, there could be a high chance of delay as there’s a lag between preparing orders and the delivery scheduling process.
  3. Customer Dissatisfaction: Delays in order processing can lead to poor customer reviews & ratings.
  4. Inventory Mismatches: If the warehouse is not connected with the delivery system, the delivery team will not be able to keep updates on logistics i.e. stockouts of the logistics.
  5. Increased Operational Costs: With separate systems, more staff are required for manual work and for keeping track of deliveries which will automatically affect the total cost.

Benefits of Integrating WMS Shipstream with Tookan:
