Custom Role Management

As the dashboard admin, you can add users/managers with different roles to help you run the marketplace. Typical functions you can add users for include marketing, support, order management, business development.

Follow these steps to add new roles to your dashboard:
  1. Click on Roles under User Settings in the Configure subhead of the left sidebar menu.
  2. Click on the blue Add button available on the right corner of the Roles page.
  3. In the Add Role page, you’ll have to fill in user details, including Role Name and Description.
  4. In the Permissions section, click on each dashboard section you want to grant the user permission. For instance, a marketing user will need permission for Promo Codes, Banner, and Analytics.
  5. Once the permissions have correctly updated, click on Add.
Here’s how you can edit or delete permissions for existing roles in your dashboard:
  1. Click on Roles under User Settings in the Configure subhead of the left sidebar menu.
  2. Here, you’ll see a list of roles that have been created. These typically include marketing, support, order management, and business development.
  3. To edit or delete these users. Click on the horizontal ellipses next to each role and select either Edit or Delete.
  4. In the Edit view, you’ll get permission fields for different sections of the dashboard. Click on each role to change the access and click on Update.
To add a manager to the dashboard, follow these steps:
  1. Click on Managers under User Settings in the Configure subhead of the left sidebar menu.
  2. Click on the blue Add button available on the right corner of the Managers page.
  3. Fill in all the required details, including Name, Email, Phone Number, Password, Role, and Merchant.
  4. Fill in all the required details, including Name, Email, Phone Number, Password, Role, and Merchant.

For instance, if you have to add an Order Management Staff, go to the Managers page under User Settings in the Configure subhead. Here, please enter all the individual details you want to add, select Order Management from the Assign Role dropdown, assign them a merchant, and click on the Add button.

All the managers you add to the dashboard will be visible on the Managers page, where you can update their details or remove their access.
